Last-Minute Booking For Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Naata Travel & Adventures Annapurna Base Camp Trek package is a complete bundle of rich adventures and experiences. Our 11 days itinerary is carefully crafted to ensure you get the most out of the trek. Here is a brief of our itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Once you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to the designated hotel. In the evening, we will host a welcome dinner for you.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara
First thing in the morning, we will introduce you to your trek guide. We will have a short briefing session, after which we will set off for Pokhara. The drive is 7 to 8 hours on a winding and scenic Prithvi highway.
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk
First, we will head to Nayapul (1010 meters). It is the starting point of our trek. It takes an hour and a half drive from Pokhara to reach Nayapul. We will slowly begin our trek, passing by Birethanti, towards Ghandruk (1940 meters). Ghandruk is a picturesque Gurung village that offers a stunning vista of the Annapurna massif.
Day 04: Trek from Ghandruk to Chomrong
From Ghandruk, we will start ascending to Kimrungdanda. Then, we will make a descent to Kimrong Khola. From here, we will keep descending until the trail begins to level. Then, we will reach the Chomrong village, which is 2170 meters altitude. The trek journey takes 5 to 6 hours.
Day 05: Trek from Chomrong to Bamboo
On this day, we will begin by descending 2,500 stone stairs and crossing a bridge over Chomrong Khola. The trail will start to ascend towards Sinuwa. Then, we will enter the dense bamboo forest. Amidst the bamboo forest lies the Bamboo village (2310 meters). The journey takes 5 to 6 hours.
Day 06: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali
From Bamboo Village, we will head towards Deurali (3230 meters). The trail will gradually ascend. As we reach the Himalayan hotel, we will see a glacial river come into view. We will enter into another forest and pass by Hinku Cave. Then, the trail descends close to a river before ascending again as we get closer to Deurali. Trekking from Bamboo to Deurali takes 4 to 5 hours.
Day 07: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchre Base Camp
We will leave Deurali and begin our climb towards Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters). The trail becomes demanding as we climb through the rugged terrain towards Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700 meters). The Machhapuchre Base Camp lies right below Mt. Machhapuchre. It also offers a panoramic view of Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, and Hiunchuli.
As we continue our trek, the vegetation disappears. Then, we will enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. Once we reach the Annapurna Base Camp, gorgeous 360-degree mountain views greet us. The entire trek takes 5 to 6 hours.
Day 08: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
It is an easy descent from the Annapurna Base Camp. We will retrace our steps back to Bamboo Village, which takes 7 to 8 hours of trekking.
Day 09: Trek from Bamboo to Jinu Danda
We will leave Bamboo Village and climb uphill towards Kuldighar. The trail then descends to Chomrong Khola before ascending again. We will ascend the stone stairs and head towards Chomrong. From there, we will descend towards Jhinu Danda. It takes 5 to 6 hours of trekking to reach Jhinu Danda.
The village of Jhinu Danda is famous for its natural hot springs. We will dip into the hot spring and relax our tired body.
Day 10: Trek from Jinu Danda to Kathmandu
It is a short hike downhill from Jhinu Danda to Samrung. It takes 30 minutes to reach Samrung, from where we hop on a jeep and head towards Kathmandu. The drive will take 8 to 9 hours. We will celebrate our trek completion in the evening with a thank-you dinner.
Day 11: Departure
Our representative will drop you off at the airport by private transportation. Your overall trip will come to an end on this day.
