It used to be a trading route between Tibet and India and that is when the Newari people from Kathmandu, who used to merchant at those times moved to Bandipur to trade. In this town you can see age old architecture dating as back as the 18th century. The place also offers excellent panoramic views of the Himalayas. In addition, it is also home to one of the largest caves in South Asia and has numerous temples as well.

The tour also takes you to Gorkha, a town carrying a significant piece in the history of Nepal. This is the town from where the legendary king Prithvi Narayan Shah was from and the town from where the unification of Nepal began. Thus, we visit Gorkha palace and the temples around there.
