Traveler Reviews

Best Time for Everest helicopter tour

Selecting the best time for Everest Helicopter tour is crucial as it determines the overall experience of the journey. To maximize the enjoyment of the tour with minimal chances of facing problems, we suggest undertaking the trip during Spring and Autumn. Those seasons are the peak seasons in Nepal for mountaineering and any other activities that involve the Himalayas. With pleasant and stable weather, clear skies and minimal chance of rainfall, Spring and Autumn offer the finest conditions for Everest Heli tour.

Trip difficulty

A one-day Everest helicopter tour with Kalapathar landing is one of the easiest ways to explore the foot of Mount Everest. As the tour doesn’t involve any physical excursion, it is relatively easy and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. However, the high altitude of the Everest region can significantly reduce air density, making it difficult to breathe. Also, the changed temperature and higher elevation can cause altitude-related issues. However, with popper preparation, the tour is easy and attainable.
