Day 3: Home rebuild

We will start to rebuild homes today for the next four days. We won’t be indulging in works that require technical skills but will do simple activities such as painting walls, mixing sand and cement, carrying house building equipments such as cement, bricks, stones etc. We will be hiring professionals to do the technical bit but if you have building skills then you can help them as well.
We will try and re-use the available resources like woods, bamboo, stones, rods from the damaged houses which will reduce the amount of cost for the rebuild so that we can utilize the funds for other essential stuff. We will be building eco-friendly houses as much as possible by utilizing the available natural resources.
Our main motive for the trip is to help rebuild the houses of the locals and you can help out in anything you feel essential. We will camp tonight in Gorkha.
