We all have dreamed of flying high like a bird, haven’t we? The euphoria that comes along being at an eagle’s eye view is definitely unmatched.
Nepal is a popular place for all kinds of adventure seekers. Pokhara amongst other places is the go to spot for paragliders. Paragliding in Pokhara is done from a hill called Sarangkot on the outskirts of the town and it has safe take off and landing zones as well. The view of the mountains on level with our eyes and the beautiful lake city of Pokhara down below is surely unmatched.
The 30 minute flight takes us 3000m above sea level and the views of lakes, rivers paving its way through green rolling hills, alpine forests, rural settlements and of course the Himalayan vista will make you feel as if time has come to a standstill for you to enjoy every second of it.

Last year, I did Paragliding at Nepal and I had promised my wife that I’d also take her for the experience. Fulfilling my promise, I took her this year. I watched her paragliding and it was a joy to see her face light up with excitement. She enjoyed it a lot.
